"Colorful Cars Shine as They Hold Their Value Better Than Ever!"
Brightly colored cars are proving to be a wise investment as they are holding their value better than ever, according to a study by iSeeCars. While white, black, and gray cars remain the most popular choices in the used car market, the value of unusual colors has grown significantly since the pandemic, with the average price of beige cars doubling since 2018. This increase in value may be due to the scarcity of used cars caused by a drop-off in production during the pandemic. As a result, buyers have become less picky and are paying a premium for colorful cars. Interestingly, yellow and green vehicles are the most expensive on the pre-owned market, trading for an average of $49,043 and $39,911 respectively. This reflects the growing popularity of these colors in the luxury and high-performance vehicle market. Blue and red remain the two most popular non-grayscale colors, with blue overtaking red as the most common colorful paint choice in 2023. Overall, this study shows that colorful cars are a hot commodity in the used car market, with their value on the rise. For automotive enthusiasts who like a little color in their lives, this is good news and an indication that investing in a brightly colored vehicle can be a smart choice.
Check Out Shaq's Impressive Modification: He Stretched His Lamborghini Gallardo by a Foot!
In a fascinating revelation, it has been reported that former professional basketball player Shaquille O'Neal once stretched his Lamborghini Gallardo by a foot so he could fit inside. This extravagant modification was necessary for Shaq, who stands at 7'1" and weighs over 300 pounds, to comfortably drive the supercar. To achieve this, Shaq purchased two Gallardos – one brand-new and one used – and enlisted the help of the Gaffoglio family from Argentina, known for their expertise in automotive and aerospace metalwork. The two cars were cut apart and carefully joined together to create an extended-wheelbase version of the Gallardo. While the modified vehicle still looked relatively normal, the process cost Shaq over $600,000. Despite the added length, the basketball star still appeared cramped inside the car, as seen in a famous meme of him. The unique Lamborghini eventually ended up being sold for $110,000 to fellow basketball player Amare Stoudemire after Shaq had a near-accident while driving it. The current whereabouts of the stretched Gallardo remain unknown. This remarkable story sheds light on the challenges faced by exceptionally tall individuals when it comes to fitting into luxurious sports cars and showcases the extravagant measures some will go to overcome these obstacles.

"Get Ready to Wait! Porsche's Unique Plan to Prevent Flipping the 911 S/T"
Porsche has come up with an interesting solution to prevent buyers from flipping the highly anticipated 911 S/T. With only 1,963 models expected to be produced, the lightweight 911 S/T is bound to be a prime target for flippers looking to make a profit. However, Porsche has implemented a forced wait period for the first year of ownership. This means that owners will initially lease their cars before taking possession of them, preventing them from immediately selling the vehicles. Frank Moser, who leads the 718 and 911 product lines, stated that Porsche wants to ensure that the cars reach true enthusiasts who will drive and enjoy them for years to come. The unique process of leasing the cars for the first year will only apply to the 911 S/T and the first cars are set to arrive in the US in spring 2024. While it remains to be seen whether this practice will work, it is certainly a welcome move for those who want to buy the 911 S/T to drive and enjoy, rather than use it as an investment. This initiative is not unprecedented, as car companies like Ford and GM have previously implemented similar strategies to discourage immediate reselling of highly sought-after vehicles.
"Florida Woman Lands in Hot Water After Transforming Car into Impersonation of State Trooper!"
In Florida, a woman was recently arrested for impersonating a Florida State Trooper after she wrapped her car to look like one. The woman, identified as Iulia Pugachev, had a Dodge Charger that she dressed up to resemble a Florida State Trooper vehicle, complete with the black and bronze paint scheme and a light bar on the roof. However, she was caught by actual troopers when they noticed that the decals on the side of her car read "FSO Guard" instead of the official markings. When questioned, Pugachev first claimed that her vehicle came with the trooper color scheme when she bought it from a car auction, but later admitted that she had wrapped the car and installed the light bar because she "fell in love with the color scheme" after seeing actual patrol units. Impersonating a law enforcement officer is a serious offense, and Pugachev is facing charges of imitating a Florida Highway Patrol marked unit, misusing a dealer plate, and driving a vehicle with no registration. While she was initially arrested, she was given a court date and released from custody. This incident serves as a reminder that impersonating a member of law enforcement is illegal and can have serious consequences.
"Renowned Designer Frank Stephenson Raves About Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Redesign: Almost Perfect!"
In a recent video, Frank Stephenson, the designer of the McLaren P1, praised the design of the modern Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, stating that it is almost perfect. The 33 Stradale, originally launched in 1967, has always been celebrated for its stunning aesthetics and exceptional engineering. The modern version of the car maintains the sensuous curves and aerodynamic lines that made the original a classic, while incorporating modern materials and technology. Stephenson had some small critiques, such as suggesting a simplified version of the Alfa Romeo logo and more gentle curves on the front fenders. He also questioned where the front license plate would be placed on the car's fascia. Overall, Stephenson's reaction to the new design was completely positive, and he praised the modern interpretation of the legendary vehicle. Stephenson has a deep connection with the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, having expressed his admiration for the original design on multiple occasions. As a renowned designer in the automotive world, his endorsement of the modern 33 Stradale speaks volumes about its quality and appeal.
